And I have spent most of my life being the person who could walk into a complicated situation and find the thing nobody else saw.

For a long time, I thought that was just a personality quirk. Turns out it's a skill. Turns out it's also a business.

THE REAL VERSION

I'm neurodivergent. I understand autistic and ADHD brains from the inside — not just from a textbook or a training — and I was 32 when I started connecting the dots on how my own brain works. Somewhere in the process of figuring that out, I realized I'd spent my entire career using those exact wiring patterns to untangle events, organizations, teams, and businesses that were stuck.

Here's what I mean by that: my brain is built for pattern recognition. For hearing the thing underneath the thing someone is saying. For finding the organizing principle inside a mess of competing priorities, limited budgets, and overwhelming options. I spent decades doing that automatically, in rooms full of people, for other people's benefit — before I learned to do it on purpose, with a price tag attached.

That's what I do now. I find the solution that was already available to you. The one that doesn't cost more, require more, or add to the pile you're already carrying. You just couldn't see it yet.

THE BACKGROUND (the condensed version)

I have a degree in Management and Organization Leadership and 15+ years of experience in people management, guest services, vendor communication, and event execution. I used to host a podcast on authenticity in business — which tells you something about how I operate. I'd rather have an honest conversation that goes somewhere than a polished one that doesn't.

Before I built Powered by Paige, I led teams, managed events, worked with vendors, and figured out how to make things run in environments that frequently had no clear roadmap. I got good at building the roadmap on the fly. I got even better at figuring out which parts of the roadmap were unnecessary and could be skipped entirely.

That instinct — to find the minimum-change, maximum-impact path — is the thing my clients pay me for now.

THE HUMAN PART (because it matters)

I'm a boy mom, which means my days include dinosaur facts delivered at 6am, tracking deer footprints in the backyard, and apparently, herding slugs. I'm up early most mornings. I paddle board when I need to think. I believe deeply in the value of real human connection in business — not the "authenticity" that's been marketized into a buzzword, but the actual kind, where you know who you're hiring and why.

I once attempted to DIY dry shampoo with cocoa powder, went for a walk in the rain, and spent an entire workday smelling like a brownie. I'm telling you this because I think the people you hire should be actual humans. And because catching the obvious flaw before it becomes an expensive problem is, genuinely, one of my professional strengths.

Generic frameworks. Homework-heavy consulting. And I will never hand you a 12-step plan when a 2-step one was sitting right in front of you.
